Let’s Focus On Giving Back And What We Can Do To Help Others

Despite the price of oil, the COVID-19 scare,  protests, unemployment,  and issues of a divided world, real estate continues to soar here in The Woodlands. East Shore is certainly no exception.

Throughout The Woodlands, homes are selling within days of listing, many with multiple offers.  Buyers are frustrated with the lack of homes to choose from and sellers are finding the market leaning their way – a seller’s market.

So, why is this happening, I am asked daily?  I have to say that in my 38 years in the business, I have never seen the market so positive when the environment is not supporting the positivity.  All I can say is that it is obviously a good time to sell and that buyers must find real estate a solid investment, with so much uncertainty in other investment options.

As for my family, we are encouraged by home sales indicating a more positive attitude for many.  We try to spread positivity through giving back as much as we can through our Lovebeans Coffeehouse “giving–back fund”, along with greeting our guests and having easy, positive conversations with those folks who continue to support us as loyal customers.

I heard a song recently by Thomas Rhett in corroboration with several other well-known country artists.  I love the lyrics and want to end by sharing a few verses with you.  I think these lyrics should be a great guide for us each and every day.

“In a time full of war, be peace.

In a time full of doubt, just believe.

When you do somebody wrong, make it right.

In a place that needs change, make a difference.

In a time full of noise, just listen.

In a world full of hate, be a light.”
