Hopping into Easter!

Easter is right around the corner, and of course The Woodlands area has some “egg-stra” fun events and activities to get you in the Easter spirit. So grab your baskets and cameras and come out to enjoy everything that The Woodlands has to offer. Here is a list of just some of the family fun activities that you might enjoy.

Have you ever hunted Easter eggs in the dark? Terramont Park is having a flashlight Easter egg hunt on April 12th and again on the 18th, starting at 7:45pm. Pre-registration is required for this event, go to www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/signupforfun to get your kids signed up. Bring your flashlights, baskets, and your best hunting skills for an egg hunt to remember!

If you are looking for some decorating fun that is tasty too, then you will want to check out these two cookie decorating opportunities. On April 12th from 9:00 to 11:00am at Alden Bridge’s  Chick- fil- A, your kids can decorate their own cookies! No registration necessary. On April 13th from 10:30am to 12:30pm Over the Top Cakes is hosting an Easter decorating cookie class. They will be teaching how to mix and color royal icing, fill pastry bags, outline, flood, and add detail to your one of a kind cookie creations. If you have never been to P-6 Farms, this is a great place to see! Their Easter Festival on April 13th, 14th, 19th and 20th from 10:00am-5:00pm is one for the books. The Easter Bunny will be there for pictures, of course! More fun includes their egg hunts, cow train rides, farm animals, festival food and so much more. Alden Bridge is also having a Festival and egg dash on April 13th from 10:00am-12:00pm. Dj Skymike will be there along with many fun activities for all. There are 3 different egg dashes, broken up by ages, starting at 10:20am. This is a free event, food and drinks will be sold to benefit the ABVA scholarship fund. How sweet is that!

What is better than the Chick-Fil-A cow? An Easter Cow! Bring your kids out to Chick-Fil-A Magnolia on April 15th from 5:30pm-7:30pm and at the Alden Bridge location on April 17th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm for breakfast for dinner! They can take pictures with the Easter cow and enjoy some fun Easter activities.

A special breakfast with the Easter bunny at Rob Flemming Park will take place on April 13th and 19th at 9:00am. There will be Easter crafts and an egg hunt. This will be fun for all ages, and a great opportunity for some great pictures. Pre-registration is required for this event so visit www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/signupforfun to get your kids signed up for the fun!

The very popular Woodlands Children’s Museum is having their “Eggtivities” on April 19th and 20th. The Easter bunny will be making an appearance, along with crafts like bunny masks, dying eggs, and embellishing egg carton baskets are just a few of the activities that your kids will love.

Looking to use your creativity? Painting with a Twist is having a family day on April 20th from 11:00am-1:00pm. You will get to paint a “Mr. Bunny” picture with the help of a local artist, and take your painting home to enjoy for years to come. Painting With a Twist will provide all the supplies- so you can just sit, relax, and paint!

Several restaurants in the area are having brunches and dinners on Easter Sunday. Morton’s Grill, Landry’s Seafood, and Jaspers are all offering up some wonderful menus. It is a great way to relax and let someone else do the cooking. Reservations are recommended, so call now to reserve a table for your family.
